Ataraxia- 48 x 48″ Oil and mixed media on aluminium panel. Named after the Greek word used by Stoics for inner calm and release from inner turmoil. ? Recently my work has been focusing on the figure and processes of entropy – the slow disintegration, chance, ‘the bigness and smallness of things’, like sandstone being weathered by the elements. Each new piece has this in mind.? ? #ataraxia? #stoic? #rvpgallery#cattogallery#artist#art #painting#oilpainting#contemporaryart#contemporaryrealism #contemporarypainting#painter #Fineart #artgallery#artstudio#modernart#figurativeart#artconsultant#interiordesign#artcollectors
