You can learn a lot from drawing superheroes and it’s more exciting for a kid to learn the basics of anatomy. I liken it to modern-day Bargue plates. The perspectives are rather forced and the muscle definition exaggerated but its an excellent way to learn.? Interestingly the head to body ratio of super heroes is 1:9 a similar gauge used by Egyptian artists, to emphasise and to flatter the torso. Standard ratio is 1:8?
