A shout out to Colin Wright @letknowthings. For several years now he?s been keeping me company when in my studio. As most artists are aware there is plenty of ?lockdown? time painting, which suits the practice. However it?s good to have a voice in the background to make you feel connected to the outside world. Colin?s podcasts are by far the best podcasts I?ve found that are not only informative but delivered in a way thats not too distracting. The background plant is an evergreen jasmin. Ive always loved this vine – lush green architectural shaped leaves and heady scented flowers which open in June/July and hang around for weeks.I planted it in my garden over a decade ago and now fully matured covers the North wall of the house. ?
